Rate Of Pay: $16-$18/HR | Non-Exempt

Position Summary:

This highly responsible clerical/administrative position is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources leadership team and to the Chief Human Resources Officer(CHRO) as well as the functional areas of an HR. This is a non-exempt position.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years solid Executive Assistant, Office Manager and/or HR experience (must have held this role in the last 5 years).
  • An Associate degree or Bachelor's degree and one-year experience in related field. Specific related experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.
  • Ability to type at the rate of 50 correct words per minute and experience in using a variety of software programs in order to maintain and update personnel records and prepare correspondence.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including a high proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Possess above average communication skills in order to effectively interpret policies and procedures and assist staff and applicants with requests.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the human resources field.
  • Ability to respond to instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Ability to work under immediate supervision

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate courtesy towards all employees, clients, visitors, and callers; including treating them with respect and dignity. She/he makes every effort to resolve customer complaints or concerns and facilitate the concern being sent to the appropriate party.

· Entering/approving employee data into the HRIS system for all new hires orientation.

· Manages all badges for employee's access into the Meridian.

· Provides employment verification upon receipt of release form.

· Manages the Vitality Wellness program and partners with Payroll department of active employees.

· Updates companywide organizational chart on a monthly basis.

  • Creating and running reports from the HRIS.
  • Prepare New Employee packets as well as personnel folders and employment badges for new hires.
  • Produces employee letters as directed by the leadership team.
  • Greet and assist visitors to the Human Resources department as well as answering calls and assisting with requests.
  • Act as Office Manager for the Department, e.g. ordering supplies, putting in work order requests, etc.
  • Manages the meeting calendar and email for the CHRO.
  • Answer phones and serve as liaison for the leadership team.
  • Make travel and logistical arrangements for the leadership team.
  • Perform other duties as required to meet program and departmental goals and objectives or as assigned by the leadership team.
  • Regular attendance is required for success in this position.
  • Ability to read and write at a level sufficient to prepare and comprehend correspondence.
  • Demonstrates adherence to MBH values, policies, procedures and all other duties as assigned by the CHRO.

Experience:

  • Administrative: 3 years (Preferred)
