We are seeking an Executive Assistant for our New York office location. You will provide a high level of administrative support to multiple Vice President level members of the leadership team. This highly visible position will interface with all levels of leadership, employees, clients and partners. This is a fast-paced role that requires an extremely organized, articulate, and proactive individual with specific knowledge of the company and executive’s needs.
What you’ll do:
  • Work closely with the executives, proactively anticipating expectations, needs and performance standards.
  • Understand complex priorities to ensure that the executive’s time is optimized with minimal input.
  • Manage a multifaceted, continuously changing business and personal travel schedule ensuring it meets the needs of the business and personal priorities.
  • Utilize knowledge of the company’s business to effectively conduct research as needed for special projects.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement if solutions are not completely evident or guideline are not applicable to the situation. Identify problems and initiate solutions.
  • Prioritize requests appropriately asking questions and/or flagging potential issues to the leader as appropriate
  • Handle sensitive situations with professionalism, confidentiality, and good judgment.
  • Track, monitor, and guide progress of projects and action items to ensure they remain on course.
  • Manage high volume calendars (domestic and international) - scheduling, organizing and managing complicated and sometimes hectic schedules.
  • You will be responsible for travel accommodations, expense reporting, calendar management, meeting logistics and preparation, document preparation and miscellaneous administrative functions as needed.
  • Acting as a liaison for direct reports.
  • Assist other TTD team members with special project deliverables as needed showing understanding of the teams priorities and how they align with the broader department’s priorities.
  • Highly independent in coordinating activities between departments and outside parties.
Who you are:
  • BS degree preferred or equivalent and 5-7+ years of previous experience supporting executives in a technology, advertising/marketing services, or other fast paced environments.
  • Strong computer skills required (MS Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) prefer experience with Zoom, Webex or similar, Concur, Workday and Confluence strongly preferred.
  • Experience with processing expense reporting. Especially with foreign travel and currency conversion.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to ensure successful interactions with all levels of employees and external contacts.
  • Ability to handle heavy workload and fast paced work environment, constantly striving to add value, without losing focus.
  • Manage multiple priorities and exhibit initiative, creativity and flexibility
  • Work independently as well as part of a team to ensure that the needs of the business are always met, and that adequate assistant coverage is provided to the executives.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • A fast learner, someone who takes the initiative to figure out what needs to be done yet seeks mentors and shares knowledge with other team members.
  • Excellent attention to details and follow through skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic, can-do, roll-up your sleeves style.
  • Excellent customer service skills and able to work well with different types of personalities.
  • Ability to take ownership of assignments and show great accountability for work.
  • A person who can impact a leader’s priorities and goals through their trust and professional advice.
  • Previous experience in a similar role for an advertising technology company.
Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)
At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$62,300 -$114,200
In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
