Job description
Commanding a team currently of about a dozen people , Chef will be responsible for all kitchen activities for the restaurant that will include the following and other responsibilties that may not listed.
- Quality of food preparation and service, food presentation, and cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Helps hire, trains and develop staff members
- Help develop menus and recipes in accordance with style of the estiblishment.
- Forward thinking and identifying potential issues and planning for upcoming menus and events.
- Responsible for food costs and labor costs
OTHER QUALITIES
Prior experience in menu creation, recipe development and training
Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work flexible hours and days
Must be able to work well under pressure
