This is a REMOTE opportunity in the Cincinnati metro area.

Responsibilities

The Executive Director, Brand Development - Retail is responsible for managing a team of high-performing sales professionals to successfully launch Catalina Reach Extender and to reach/exceed annual revenue goals while driving business expansion with one of the world’s largest retailers.

  • Support a zero-compromise shopping experience by introducing ‘Catalina Reach Extender,’ which amplifies current digital offers by extending relevant printed offers to exclusively in-store shoppers at checkout for one of the world’s largest retailers

  • Drive solutions and revenue results for Catalina Reach Extender and category expansion through a team of high-performing sales professionals that identifies key category managers/directors within retailer merchandising to establish quarterly connections for strategic engagement

  • Ongoing engagement with the team, managing performance, and accountability by evaluating sales reports/forecasts, conducting account reviews for specific business KPI metrics, and inserting gap plans to ensure revenue targets are reached through business expansion and deepening relationships

  • Evangelize the new and transformed Catalina portfolio of Digital, Data, and Analytics based solutions to retailer’s merchandising groups and consumer packaged goods (CPG) community

  • Work in a team environment to set and define strategy, identify, and engage required internal resources for goal achievement, and embrace and deliver on retail network expansion goals

  • Work collaboratively with Catalina’s cross-functional Analytics, Product, and Tech teams to develop custom solutions aimed at addressing retail partners’ loyalty marketing issues

  • Present value-added proposals and solutions to Retail/CPG clients that require unique customization to align with how consumers shop and varying client requirements that improve shopper campaign performance and drive new client initiatives

  • Develop comprehensive development and training plans to mature and enhance performance and career advancement opportunities for the team

  • Partner with People & Culture to evaluate employee career progression needs and create action plans for growth and development through committed engagement, functional job mapping, and mentorship

  • Responsible for ongoing hiring, training, motivating, coaching, and retaining key personnel to achieve assigned revenue goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field, Master’s degree a plus

  • 8 -10 years of previous sales/marketing experience in the US Retail industry, digital media, with an emphasis on marketing, promotion, or sales

  • 3+ years of experience managing high-performing sales teams with budget management and financial projection skills

  • Experience and strong working knowledge of retail marketing, operations, and category management across various retail verticals, including c-store, mass, dollar, pet, natural and organics, grocery, and drug, among others

  • Proven track record of developing relationships with clients, co-workers, and business partners

  • Detail-oriented and strong reporting, analytics, organization, time management, and communication

  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of contracts and the utilization of Salesforce CRM

  • Proven ability to professionally perform sales presentations and product demos

  • Strong working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to work without supervision and make decisions of wide variety and complexity

  • Operates with a high sense of urgency while maintaining a strategic mindset
