Summary of Responsibilities:

The Executive VP of Business Operations is responsible for oversight and delivery of an array of behavioral health services to clients with mental health and substance abuse disorders. This position is responsible for ensuring that quality programming; regulatory compliance, fiscal responsibility, organizational development/fundraising activities and anticipated needs of internal and external customers are met. Also, key to this position is the development of a positive work environment to attract and retain a stable progressive, caring and diverse workforce needed to ensure the delivery of high quality, cost effective services. The Executive VP of Business will oversee the development and implementation of strategies to address changing markets and assist in the implementation of positive consumer and community awareness programs and activities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides leadership and clinical management of Transformations Treatment Center, and serve as the senior manager integrating business development with clinical staff and operations.
  • Responsible for organizational strategic planning and implementation, in collaboration with others on the leadership team.
  • Champions quality and risk management activities throughout the organization continuously maintaining and improving the quality of care, while minimizing the risk of loss.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and adherence to professional standards.
  • Creates a culture and systems that capitalize on the diversity of staff that will attract, develop and retain the best staff.
  • Ensure that training is provided that meets regulatory and agency requirements and strategically supports internal development of staff at all levels to address future business needs.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and support for direct reports.
  • Actively promotes an organizational culture of transparency, communication, collaboration, respect, and focus on mission.
  • Assure operational integration of clinical functions to achieve program success, high customer satisfaction, excellent patient care and safe operations.
  • Assist in developing the annual strategic and operational goals and objectives of Clinical Services.
  • Identify potential opportunities for clinical service line expansion, and prepares related business proposals for Executive Team review and approval.
  • Identifies business opportunities for organizational growth to enhance financial strength and contribution margin as well as create non-operating revenue.
  • Implements long-term revenue and cost strategies that align with corporate objectives.
  • Influences business practices and policy by creating new ventures or builds on existing advantage.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety rules, guidelines & procedures.

Necessary Abilities:

  • Knowledgeable of Clients Rights and treats all clients with dignity and respect in a consistent caring manner understands the principles of addiction and psychiatric treatment
  • Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws
  • Demonstrates good interpersonal communication skills and proficiency in verbal & written skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree required, in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field of behavioral science from an accredited educational institution
  • Program development, evaluation, solid organizational skills, and public speaking, strong written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior level management role overseeing the delivery of community-based behavioral healthcare programs
  • Possesses expert knowledge of current and future cost drivers in the industry
  • Demonstrated understanding of the socio-economic and health care problems of the mentally ill and/or addicted clients
  • Demonstrated personal effectiveness skills and abilities such as planning and goal setting, time management, ability to meet deadlines, team building, pro-activity, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to the community and to engage in local activities that will support our programs and growth
  • Must have strong administrative, programmatic, analytic and operational experience in a multi-disciplinary treatment environment
  • Experience working in crisis setting with individuals and families
  • All employees may be required to work before, during and/or immediately after a natural or man-made disaster

Salary Range:

$140,000 - $160,000 / Year
