As an Experienced Associate, the candidate will provide operational oversight and lead a team of document reviewers. The experienced associate’s core responsibilities are to provide outstanding responsiveness, consultative advice, management of document review projects, and drive the highest levels of client satisfaction. The right individual for this role will be able to appropriately manage and lead multiple document review projects and to provide direction and oversight to the teams of document review professionals. In performing these duties, the experienced associate will cultivate teamwork across the managed document review team, create, optimize, and execute workflows, processes, and BDO procedures that will ensure repeatability from client-to-client and project-to-project.
As there are several cities listed within this job description, we would consider candidates nationwide and able to work remote as long as willing to travel to client site as needed

Essential Duties:
Leadership
- Creates strategic initiatives that provide the highest levels of operational efficiencies which simultaneously drive-up employee and client satisfaction
Project Management
- Directly engages and manages the productivity teams effectively, within the standards of our BDO’s Core Values
- Appropriately allocates team members to projects ensuring there is load balancing from a utilization perspective for each
- Ensures team members are communicating and responding in a timely fashion
Client Management
- Manages multiple workstreams across the assigned portfolio of clients, including both upstream escalation paths and downstream day-to-day management
- Responds directly to client requests and provides consultation within the framework of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) including working closely with digital forensics and managed review teams
- Develops, actively communicates, and manages project plans for clients including consultation on processes and tools to meet project goals
Technology
- Analyzes and provides meaningful insights, interpretations, and guidance by leveraging data intelligence and data mining solutions (e.g., SmartSheet, Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft Advanced E-Discovery, trend analyses) to educate and consult with clients
- Effectively applies end-to-end platform solutions, such as RelativityOne, including knowledge of processing workflows, early case assessment, review workflows, appropriate use and application of analytic tools and methodologies, machine translation workflows, and complex production workflows
- Adopts, leverages, and applies advanced analytic applications such as Relativity Analytics and Brainspace
- Translates highly technical information to non-technical clients
Business Development
- Develops business and drives revenue to BDO through participation in team pursuits and individual activities

- Bachelor's degree, required
- Juris Doctorate and other advanced degrees taken into consideration
Experience:
- Three (3) or more years of managed document review experience, required
- Experience in project and/or client management for document review services, required
Software:
- Proficient in multiple document review technologies including RelativityOne and Brainspace, required
- Proficiency in one or more advanced analytics applications such as, H5 and a general understanding of machine language translation tools, preferred
- Proficiency in other eDiscovery platforms, preferred
Language:
- Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, French, German, and/or Hindi, preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid organizational skills especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details and quality
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel
- Ability to provide an encouraging team atmosphere on engagements and contribute to the professional development of the team
- Strong and effective people management skills are a necessary component of this role
