POSITION: Experienced CNC Laser Operator

DEPARTMENT: Production

Location: Wapato, WA

Hours: Full-time (6AM - 4:30PM, Monday - Thursday)

Pay: Starting @ $19.00/hr (Depends on Experience)

Reports To: Production Manager

We have an immediate opening for an experienced CNC Laser Operator.

Daily tasks include:

• Safely setting up, operating, loading, and unloading a laser and waterjet, using a forklift.

Deburring parts.

• Inspecting parts to prints and process specifications, using common tools such as calipers, micrometers, form gauges, height gauges and protractors.
• Communicating with leadership about process problems and solutions.
• Working within a defined process to meet quality and time standards using existing work instructions.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has solid job experience.
• Has good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Has good computer skills.
• Able to routinely handle objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

1-2 years of experience in this role is preferred. Applicants must be able to set-up and run jobs on the Laser and/or Waterjet with minimal supervision. Operators are expected to quickly learn our quality system and inspect their own work (during Production).

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
