The successful candidate has the opportunity to support MLT’s Employer Equity Solutions team to help leading employers design and implement more effective diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and tactics. The Experienced Recruiting Associate will be a key member of this quickly growing team and will have the opportunity to contribute to the future success and direction of the team. The Experienced Recruiting Associate will support one or more Experienced Recruiting Engagement Leader in working with MLT partner employers to help them:
  • Understand diversity lateral/experienced recruiting best practices
  • Change their existing recruiting practices by educating and training recruiters and business leaders on best practice approaches and working side-by-side with partners to implement new policies and practices
  • Effectively tap into MLT’s experienced talent pool of over 9,000 diverse professionals

Experienced Recruiting Associate

This role provides a highly collaborative opportunity to work with various internal groups at MLT, as well as working directly with MLT partner employers and MLT Alumni. The Experienced Recruiting Associate will help connect MLT Alumni to career opportunities, track and report on their progress and outcomes, work with partner employers to help them recruit from MLT’s Alumni pool, and support the overall operations of the Experienced Recruiting Solutions team. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail oriented, and a strong communicator with an interest in learning about diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices and building client advisory skills and experience.

What a typical day in this role looks like

  • Track, manage, and analyze MLT Alumni job seeker and employer partner information and data
  • Communicate with and provide updates to MLT Alumni and employer partners
  • Build positive relationships with MLT Alumni, coaches, partner organizations, and internal staff members
  • Utilize existing databases to develop lists of alumni based on specific search criteria, including sector and functional areas of expertise
  • Work with Experienced Recruiting Engagement Leader(s) to develop and deliver diversity recruiting best practice presentations, recommendations and trainings to partner employers
  • Establish team processes, templates, and engagement best practices alongside the rest of the team

Education/Certification requirement

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant corporate, business, or non-profit experience in recruiting / executive search, program management or project management support
