Job Description

• Provide the highest degree of patient & client service
• Assist veterinarians with providing patient care including examination appointments, lab diagnostics, X-rays, and surgeries
• Consult and educate clients on available services and best practices to ensure animal health
• Responsible for safely holding and restraining animals, if needed
• Entry of applicable service charges into our practice management software (Cornerstone)
• Basic cleaning & clinic maintenance
• Other duties as assigned
• This is a full-time position; applicants must be available to work between 7AM-6PM on weekdays and willing to work every other Saturday.

Preferred Applicant Experience:

• Applicants must have +2 years work experience in a veterinary setting, preferably as a veterinary assistant
• Previous surgery assistance experience a strong plus
• Cornerstone practice management system experience a strong plus
• Veterinarian employment references considered a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $18.00 per hour
