Title: Experimental Neuroscientist SME

Location: Bethesda, MD

Status: Part-Time

Position Summary:

Midnight Sun Technologies is looking for a Senior Neuroscientist with extensive experience in live imagining of awoke behaving mice, electrophysiology, and behavioral studies.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide project updates weekly and ongoing. Data communication is essential in this role both for presenting projects to other scientist and journals but as well as internal oversight and project development.
• Must be able to teach other team members crucial research skills for about 3 hours per week.
• Must be able to support LNG's mission to share the results with the broader scientific community by uploading data to the respective data repositories.
  

Minimum Requirements:

• 
  Must have a PhD in a related discipline.
• Must have a minimum of six (6) years of related experience.
• Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must have excellent technical, analytical, organizational and time management skills.

Work Environment:

Performance of the required job duties will be in an office environment.
