Job Title: Extrusion Technician

Description of Role: Responsible for the day-to-day execution of operations for extrusion department. These functions include monitoring machines as products are extruded, as well as inspecting, cleaning, trimming, and bundling pipes for delivery.

About the Role: You will be expected to be an active team member, in ensuring Georg Fischer Harvel meets its customer needs by overseeing extrusion lines, communicating with technicians when there are process issues, inspecting parts for quality (dimensional and visual), and ensuring that efficiency targets are met daily.

About You: The ideal candidate must have the following skillset and experience:

Core Competencies:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Capable of correctly identifying different materials/products
• Basic math
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Two or more years of forklift experience
• Ability to work with minimum direction after being trained
• The ability to multi task

Physical Requirements:

• Walking, 10-11 hours per day
• Standing, 10-11 hours per day
• Squatting/Stooping/ Kneeling- occasionally
• Reaching - occasionally.
• Must be able to continuously lift 50-75lbs

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
