A Black Bear Cashier is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a gas station. They complete many duties to maintain the station, which include attending to and assisting customers, accepting payments, stocking the shelves, and maintaining station organization, preparing any hot food and maintaining the balance of the cash drawer.

Black Bear Cashier Duties and Responsibilities

To ensure the smooth operation of a Black Bear Convenient Store, a Black Bear Cashier performs many different tasks.

Provide Customer Service

The Black Bear Cashiers must ensure satisfactory customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with any needs or questions. They are often called upon to help locate or recommend product. If needed, they may be required to assist with fueling tanks.

Maintain Inventory

Responsible for maintaining the store inventory, Black Bear Cashiers must stock and re-stock shelves, replenishing product in shelving, coolers, and hot food area. They may be required to prepare the hot food, as well.

Operate Register

To accept customer payments, the Black Bear Cashiers must operate the register as well as the credit card machines. They will also have to maintain the register balance.

Clean Station

They are responsible for maintaining and refilling the outside washing dispensers and taking out trash as well as Cleaning Restroom area and stocking it. They will also be required to keep the free of dust and dirt. Black Bear Cashiers are tasked with maintaining clean and orderly stations. This includes servicing and cleaning the public restrooms, cleaning the windows and countertops, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping the floors, and organizing shelves.
