Eye Wares is an independently owned, multi-location optometry practice. We are experts in our field providing high quality eyecare while boasting a vast upscale, luxury eyewear boutique, with brands such as Cartier, Chanel, Boucheron, Lindberg, Tiffany, Balmain and Akoni.

Eye Wares is the place to See and Be Seen as an enthusiastic, sales oriented, eyewear stylist to confidently guide our patient’s and customers through the frame & lens selection process.

Sales associates will possess the optical acumen to direct the patient towards the most suitable frame and lens options based on their lifestyle & prescription requirements. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a luxury retail sales environment. Optical/ophthalmology background is a plus but not required as we will provide exceptional training to promote success in the optical field. This position is primarily a sales position, yet, has potential for many other avenues of growth.

As a sales associate and eyewear stylist you will posses the skills listed below:

• Knowledge and understanding of our diverse frame collection’s features and benefits, Fitting techniques that assist in successful prescription lens adaptation, and an awareness of current trends within our industry. It is of extreme importance to know what differentiates our frames and lenses from other competitors in the area.
• A natural ability to connect with patients and potential customers, helping them feel at ease and trust you with their frame and lens purchase.
• Multi-tasking & prioritize efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Communicate effectively with staff members and work as a team to complete tasks and exceed sales goals.
• Self-motivated with a genuine desire to continuously learn and improve your skill set.
• Problem solving capabilities. The ideal candidate promptly puts customers/patients at ease and initiates a clear plan of action to a positive result.
• Sales associates will also help with inner office duties such as cleaning displays & merchandising, notifying patients when their orders arrive, documenting pertinent info in pt. records and ordering prescription eyewear orders.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Vision/medical insurance plans that we accept that will ensure an accurate transaction for products and services provided.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and POS systems are a plus as opticians/stylists interact with these on a daily basis

Some occasional travel to the southshore is possible for meetings/events.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
