Job description

We are looking for a versatile, motivated, and well-organized F & B catering manager to oversee our event catering department. As a F & B catering manager, you will finalize sales contracts, create, and ensure that banquet event orders reflect customer requirements and soliciting clients for future events.

Responsibilities:

• Determine customer requirements and proposing catering options.
• Negotiating price and preparing banquet event orders.
• Planning menus and overseeing meeting space, audio visual equipment, food service preparations.
• Work with customers, sales staff, kitchen staff and outside providers for meeting and event preparations.
• Develop existing business and solicit new catering business through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques.
• Responsible for driving revenue growth and bringing net new business from prospective clientele.
• Preferred person who has already worked as Wedding Planning and Event Manager.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in catering management, or similar.
• Ability to coordinate catering requirements with customers, hotel staff and suppliers.
• The ability to apply industrial knowledge to improve catering services.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
