Position: Fabricator Assistant
Department: Maintenance
Location: San Juan Bautista, CA
Reports to: Project Engineer and Fabricator
SUMMARY
This position is will offer support to our fabricator team and perform basic maintenance including know how to use grinder to cut and grind tube, sheet, bolts any metal, used the tape measure to take dimensions, and move equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for daily support/assistance to the onsite fabricator team
· Responsible for assistance in moving equipment and material with forklift
· Ability to learn how to use a welder to tack weld parts
· Complies with company GMP's, while maintaining safety practices
· All other duties as assigned by Manager
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· Minimum Experience required: 0-3 Months
· Minimum Experience required: 0-1 year forklift driving warehouse experience
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Team player who will exceed assigned responsibilities and assist others to reach objectives
· Willingness and ability to work occasional long and sometimes irregular hours including working night shifts, weekends and holiday hours.
· Ability to work independently
· Strong oral and written communication skills to deliver technical information in an easily understood manner across all departments
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is exposed to a cold (34-36 degrees F) and wet manufacturing environment, the smell of chlorine, outside weather conditions, uneven walking surfaces, heavy machinery, forklift traffic and loud noise.

Pay: $18.75 - $20.75 per hour
