Position Summary

This position will fabricate windows and/or plastic interiors in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities will include

Basic window and plastic fabrication under general supervision
Assisting in 1st piece inspection and completion of work orders
Identification and recording of parts and serial numbers for plastics and windows
Maintaining a neat, clean and organized work area
Other duties as assigned

Education

High School or GED

Position Requirements

Ability to perform basic fabrication duties (i.e. sawing, sanding, trimming, routing, cleaning and bonding)
Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and work instructions
Familiarity and experience with basic measuring equipment
Ability to operate forklift safely

Preferred

Previous experience related to job duties may be a plus, and may qualify selected candidate for a higher level/pay grade

Physical requirements

Ability to work with hands in conjunction with hand/eye coordination
Ability to stand and/or sit stationary for several hours
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on a regular basis
