Responsibilities:
Purpose of the job
We are seeking ambitious and energetic Facilities and Fleet Technician to assist with the maintenance of fleets and the corporate office. The Pest Control industry is not exactly what it may seem. Pest Control is more of a maintenance program to ensure that our customers don’t suffer from reoccurring pest activity. Like electricians or HVAC technicians, our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of the customers that we serve.

What You’ll Do
  • Installing camper shells, various spray rig components, Idrive, and storage systems on trucks.
  • Installing, repairing, wiring, and maintaining all electrical components found in different vehicles.
  • Dissemble and correctly reassemble vehicle parts and components.
  • Testing equipment and computers used for mapping out electrical pathways.
  • Locating electronic malfunctions in the system.
  • Ensure all equipment is fully functional, clean, and connected to the automobile’s main power source.
  • Use meters and circuit diagrams to search for faulty parts of vehicles.
  • Understand and manage components and control systems of equipment to be installed into vehicles.
  • Maintain building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
  • Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, warehouse, corridors, elevator, stairways, and other work areas.
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office spaces.
  • Clean and polish lighting fixtures, granite surfaces, metalwork, and trim.
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors throughout the building.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Wash windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies.
  • Replace light bulbs and air conditioner filters.
  • Empty wastebaskets and empty and clean ashtrays. Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Clean debris from sidewalks, outdoor walkways, parking lots and courtyard.
  • Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
  • Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Caution management regarding misuse of company property.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • No Experience Required!
  • Must be technically knowledgeable in the use of lift equipment, automotive tools, and machinery, and knowledgeable in wiring and proper mounting techniques.
  • Must be familiar with functionality, soldering, and splicing of wires.
  • Must be familiar with spray lighting charging systems and rig motors.
  • Must be able to think logically and clearly, self-disciplined, psychologically and physically fit, reliable, punctual, and safety conscious.
  • Has working knowledge and experience in all facets of large and small engine operations, vehicle repair and maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, basic construction skills, use of welding, brake lathe, air compressor, and other assorted shop tools.
  • Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:
We require a good driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen. Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations:
  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
