SGI Global is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to provide facility and security support to the Threat Screening Center. The position requires a Top Secret (TS) clearance with the ability to attain Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Responsibilities

Office Management:

  • Access to unclassified, secret, TS, and TS/SCI systems and information required for the performance of duties.
  • Answer facilities related phone calls, emails, tickets, and in-person requests communicated and tracked through unclassified, secret, and TS communications and tracking systems.
  • Coordinate and follow up with other Facilities Office personnel, other TSC units, and outside vendors to successfully complete task requirements.
  • Accurate and timely documentation of daily work, tasks, and requests in unclassified, secret, and TS communications and tracking systems.
  • Track the status and utilization of government owned vehicles. Assign government owned vehicles to TSC personnel upon request, ensuring that staff are provided with transportation to scheduled meetings and off-site events. Track and manage the government vehicle keys.
  • Maintain facility door keys, logging issuance and return of keys in the government's key database.
  • Coordinate outside vendors visiting the TSC to facilitate security and scheduling requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Space Management:

  • Perform space management duties using standard industry practices and government procedure. This task will require utilizing unclassified, secret, and TS space management and space request systems.
  • Strategizing, planning, and reporting on the TSC's space utilization. This includes the current state, future goals, and projects. Liaison and coordinate space matters with other TSC Facilities Office personnel, operational units, executive management, and outside vendors to achieve space management goals.
  • Coordinate furniture installation for new construction projects, renovations, and cyclical replacements, ensure that contracted project architects complete furniture ordering packages correctly and on time, that project timetables and TSC standards of quality, durability, and aesthetics are met, and handle warranty issues.
  • Identify and resolve facility deficiencies, determine whether building systems are operating appropriately, and determine whether aesthetic appearances are acceptable and in compliance with building standards.
  • Planning and coordinating facilities improvement projects, determining which projects to undertake and the scope of the work involved.
  • Assist TSC management with identifying and resolving facility compliance issues, to include the ADA, fire code issues, building code requirements, and compliance with TSC/FBI standards.
  • Provide internal departments with guidance regarding new and renovated facilities and determining the layout of furniture in offices and instructional spaces.
  • Designing space layouts; designing renovation options; supervising the drawings of space layouts and renovations; determining the size of space desired for particular activities or customers; determining the furniture and fixtures required by TSC/FBI standards; interpreting and applying the TSC's standards for the size of offices, classrooms, other spaces, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment; providing technical support.
  • Regularly schedule building inspections and determine which issues need to be addressed and how.
  • Perform regular and as-needed space utilization studies and generate reporting on the results.
  • Coordinate the movement of personnel throughout the building in response to changing government needs and space utilization.
  • Planning and coordination of facilities improvement projects. Duties include project prioritization, determining the scope of work, monitoring of outside vendors and contractors performing work on projects, recommending formal approval the work when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Requires Top Secret SCI clearance.
  • Education: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in facility and space management at facilities of similar size and scope to the TSC.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project to produce facility and space management plans and schedules.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint to create and share professional documents.
  • Experience understanding and meeting the requirements of the ADA, as well as state and local life safety codes as it relates to facility and space replaced projects.
  • Experience analyzing and strategizing office space utilization and space alteration projects. Including gathering requirements from a variety of competing stakeholders or subject matter experts, evaluating options, and presenting recommendations to Government leadership.
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service and maintaining work relationships with general office staff, leadership, technical staff, and the operation and maintenance (O&M) workforce.
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and responsible.
  • Must excel in a collaborative environment as a team member or team leader.
  • Experience utilizing work ticket systems to track requests and problems.
  • Shall be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds unassisted.
