Job Description Summary
The Town of Southern Pines is searching for a Facilities Superintendent to supervise Facilities Technicians and Custodians with the objective of maintaining, repairing, and cleaning of the Town"s buildings, shelters, dugouts, fences, pool, splash pad, and bathroom structures for the safe and appealing enjoyment for the community. The Town of Southern Pines is experiencing unprecedented growth and takes pride in the facilities it offers to the community. We are looking for a candidate who will have gratification in sustaining the high-level standards we maintain in our facilities that make our town a great place for all community members. The ideal candidate will have a background in building maintenance and repairs, along with project management experience. Great communication skills, and we mean really great communication skills, are tremendously important. Also important is the ability to think on your feet, meet deadlines and manage multiple ongoing projects in various stages of review.
