Target Salary: $65,000- $90,000+ depending on experience

Our Facility Analyst will serve as the technical resource to our project developers, engineers, estimators, and operations teams. Through facility assessments, surveys and audits, the role will determine the existing condition, performance and deficiencies of building systems and assets to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and operational performance. This role will be initially focused on lighting and lighting controls.

As a lighting-focused Facility Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting initial and extensive field surveys/audits of existing lighting systems for the Commercial and Industrial Division of SitelogIQ prior to lighting retrofit projects.

  • The Facility Analyst will conduct local and out-of-state surveys/audits and should expect 80-90% travel in this role.
  • This position may also include working at night or early morning hours to collect light level data and take photographs of project sites. Field work is done during a wide range of weather conditions, and the Facility Analyst will also need to occasionally use access ladders and catwalks.
  • This role is intended to provide a high level of support to our sales team in all areas of developing potential projects.
  • This position requires high attention to detail and accuracy as well as very clear and proactive communication skills, both with internal teammates as well as external customers, vendors, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Conducts surveys of customer facilities and assesses the current condition, operational performance and deficiencies of the building systems and infrastructure. Subject building systems include lighting, lighting controls, and related electrical systems.
    • Conduct field surveys/audits of existing lighting systems by walking property/building site, with the objective of providing accurate and detailed information on the existing lighting fixtures and systems.
    • Conduct detailed lighting surveys/audits using digital auditing software (ecoInsight).
    • Open fixtures and inspect electrical panels as needed.
    • Use auditing tools to assist in obtaining precise information.
    • Review and submit survey/audit reports within one week of survey/audit date.
    • Communicate potential and existing issues, questions, concerns, and overall assessments of buildings.
  • Perform on-site information gathering, testing and technical measurements such as light level measurements, and data logging of lighting and electrical systems.
  • Gather and review existing building plans for customer facilities to gain an understanding of the history and current condition of their facilities.
  • Develop various marked-up floor plans that illustrate existing conditions, such as light levels, lighting technology, and lighting controls.
  • Develop documents for the development team illustrating facility issues and opportunities for improvements.
  • Collaborate with and assist project developers, designers, and engineers in identifying and developing facility improvement measures and solutions.
  • Work towards continuous individual and team process and quality improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Industry experience and credentials required.
  • Lighting survey/audit experience required.
  • Strong understanding of lighting technologies.
  • Experience performing sales liaison and client collaboration in energy or related industries.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision under time sensitive deadlines.
  • Proficiency in general computing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Works well with others; team oriented.
  • Up to 80 to 90% travel will be required for site assessments/surveys/audits.
