2022 Salary Range: $12.76 - $16.59/hour
2022 Hiring Rate: $12.76/hour
2023 Hiring Rate will be determined early January and used to set pay for this position.

This position is scheduled for approximately 6-15 hours per week. Hours vary: Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Staff will be scheduled at least two shifts per week. Must be available to work a regular schedule on a year-round basis.

General Duties:

• 
  Cleans and maintains all areas of the facility.
• Assists with birthday parties in the gymnastics center.
• Monitors activity to prevent injuries, accidents, and responds to emergencies as necessary.
• Enforces all rules and regulations of programs and facilities; ensures that the facility is safe for use.
• Greets the public and is a visible contact for the public.
• Responsible for set-up and takedown of necessary equipment needed for programs or functions.
• Performs regular cleaning, maintenance and safety inspections of any equipment in the facility as directed; takes care of and stores equipment properly.
• Fills out all necessary paperwork.
• Assists other staff members throughout the facility as needed.
• Attends and contributes at in-service training sessions and meetings.

Training –Successful completion of 8th grade.
Experience – None. Prior customer service experience preferred.

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: - Must be at least 16 years of age; AED, First Aid and CPR certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment and must be maintained for continued employment. Applicants must, as a condition of employment, pass the following pre-offer and post-offer/hire processes: oral board, reference checks, background checks including local police check and sex-offender list.

Work in the Recreation Division may require indoor and outdoor activities. Will have physical demands that include but are not limited to lifting, moving and maintenance of equipment, setup and take down of inflatables. Physical demands are described as heavy (exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects).
