Looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician.

The Facility Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing various general labor activities that provide assistance at the jobsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs lawn and gardening duties project wide.
• Performs small concrete repairs on sidewalks and plant roadways.
• Maintains all buildings including remodels, painting interior and exterior.
• Small construction projects. Including carpentry, flooring, cabinet installation and plumbing.
• Fulfills all safety requirements.
• Completes and files all necessary paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, evening and 24-hour emergency on call.
• 1st./Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Weekends/On-Call as Needed

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License and maintains insurable driving record.

Technical: Ability to follow manual & operating instructions. Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures & safety practices. Ability to perform routine maintenance/repairs. Ability to work with required tools (including jack hammer, demolishing saw, etc.). Comfortable in and around water/raw sewage.

Communication: Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Willing to help others. Maintains composure in challenging situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to: frequently lift 50-80 pounds; load, unload & move large equipment/tools; access confined spaces; continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
