Elmora Family Practice is currently seeking for a professional Bilingual [Spanish & English] Nurse Practitioner who can deliver primary medical care to a wide variety of patients. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible in caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records, and administering follow-up to patients as required. The successful candidate will work alongside our current APNs and MD. As a team we will continue to deliver premium care to each and every patient in our community.
Responsibilities and Duties
Advanced Nurse Practitioner responsibilities:
- Practice in accordance with the state’s laws, rules and regulations as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team for all patients (13 and older). As a member of this team, the Nurse Practitioner provides primary health care through direct care, consultation, collaboration, coordination and/or referral.
- Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
- Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
- Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
- Performance of all things reasonably desirable and necessary to maintain and improve his/her professional skills.
Qualifications and Skills
Advanced Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:
- Ability to work within a team and take direction
- Must be familiar with the EHR medical charting system
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- 4+ years' nursing experience
- Must have exceptional bedside manner and confidence
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license
- Must maintain current license and certification throughout duration of employment
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be Bilingual [Spanish & English]
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
