Position Title- Family Nurse Practitioner

Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with experience in Family Medicine, (Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine also to be considered). The Nurse Practitioner will supervise and direct all nursing care. The Nurse Practitioner shall function in providing appropriate and safe medical care to patients within their scope of practice, as well as provide direction and supervision to the nurses and medical assistants. The Nurse Practitioner will provide continuity of individual patient care and assuring a well-controlled, clean environment for the quality care of patients. The nurse practitioner analyzes, evaluates, and implements nursing and medical services to promote continuous quality improvement.

SKILLS: Demonstrates and exceeds expectations of interpersonal and communication skills among team members and patients. Ability to work independently in an autonomous environment, and comfortable seeing patients of all ages and acuity (4 months and up) within scope of practice and as a team player. Possesses self-initiative, creativity, and motivation. Ability to collaborate with supervisors, management team, patients, and other medical providers. Manages time effectively and completes tasks as assigned. Safely administers injections, infusion of IV fluids, hormone therapies, suturing, I&D, splinting, interpreting ECGs, etc. and is passionate about delivering high quality care. Bilingual is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Demonstrates competency in planning and preparing for the care of all patients.

-Obtain an accurate medical history and ensure that patients receive thorough pre and post treatment instructions.

-Performs Evexias (training will be provided) pelleting procedure with quality sterile technique and assures comfort measures to each patient as needed including anesthetic.

-Assesses each patient's physical and emotional status.

-Follows up on patient calls and questions in a timely manner.

-Directs nursing staff in all aspects of clinical nursing practice and standards in accordance with regulations.

-Identifies risks and issues pertaining to nursing service and the delivery of patient care.

-Develops and implements policies and procedures necessary for the provision of overall nursing services with a focus on the delivery of high quality, nearing luxury, patient care as possible.

-Delegates responsibilities to nursing staff

-Demonstrates the ability to identify and solve problems relating to nursing services throughout the company.

-Supervises and collaborates with the nursing/MA staff, offers guidance, interventions, recommendations, and direction: serving as a resource person and role model for providing quality patient care.

-Provide assessment and justification for new equipment or treatment options suggested.

-Conducts assessments, creates plans, offers recommendations, orders tests, and serves as a patient's primary provider within the company.

-Maintains accountability and responsibility for all nursing care and related patient care issues at all times

-Maintains daily documentation of patient charts

-Performs IVs, injections and other treatments under Medical Director

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
