Kindering is dedicated to maintaining a highly trained, licensed and certified team of professionals. Current services include comprehensive developmental assessments; physical, occupational, speech, language, and infant mental health therapy; special education; family counseling; nutrition and feeding therapy; childcare consultation; parenting education; and family resource coordination.

Purpose
To provide the Family Resources Coordinator department with administrative support. This department coordinates services for young children with developmental disabilities and their families in compliance with Part C.
40 hours a week; 8 weeks off per year
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Collaborate with staff on a daily basis and work as a team member
- Copy/distribute records to families, doctors, school districts, and other agencies
- Support department members in maintaining documentation of FRC activities in each child’s file and collectively for agency records, billing, and tracking
- File, mail, exit, and copy children’s records
- Assist intake coordinators as needed: completing medical intakes and scheduling evaluation appointments
- Complete reminder calls for upcoming evaluations
- Provide limited front-desk/reception coverage as needed
- Serve as a liaison with school districts to coordinate meeting schedules for school district representatives and department members
- Provide data entry of client information into state database and agency database
- Fulfill clerical assignments, operate office machines, conduct errands, type, and word process documents as needed
- Oversee and coordinate volunteers on various projects
- Complete other duties as assigned by FRC Program manager(s) and others
- Provide care and program planning, coordination, anticipatory guidance for complex health needs, assistance to access services both within Kindering and in the community), resource development, interagency coordination, quality management, and administration to support Medicaid programs.
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma
- Related work experience
- Demonstrate skill in word processing and familiarity with MS Word and Excel
Minimum Prerequisites
- Pass Washington State DSHS criminal history and background check and FBI fingerprint check
- Possess valid Washington State driver’s license and valid automobile insurance
- Pass tuberculosis test
