Job Description
The Fashion Coordinator, Key Looks & SMS Photography is responsible to assist with the development and organization of Lilly Pulitzer fashion design documents, photography assets and cross functional tools. The objectives of the position are to develop innovative assets and documents that communicate the design teams vision clearly to other channels of the company and ultimately the consumer.
This position is responsible primarily to assist the Design team in organizing, creating and maintaining the assets for Seasonal Kick Off, SMS photoshoots, WTW look books, and special projects.
Understand the Lilly Pulitzer customer, lifestyle, and positioning in the marketplace.
Assist in the seasonal Kick Off by organizing assets and inputting design pertinent information into the deck; update document and keep up to date throughout all stages of design
Create InDesign Ways to Wear Look Books
Save, organize, edit, and maintain photographs and videos from SMS photoshoot
Assist with Trend research: organize inspirational tears, pull hi-res images for photoshop editing and PowerPoints.
Attend photoshoots and assist with dry cleaning, steaming, prepping for and breaking down the shoot.
Maintain all activities in a quick paced environment consistent with the product development calendar.

Spend sufficient time in retail stores and on-line to understand the customer, merchandise, and marketplace. Visit Lilly Pulitzer® stores; understand what is selling at retail, and competitive trends.
Organize, research and maintain inspirational imagery, sms photographs/videos and fashion design assets. Assist in the creation of Kick Off Decks seasonally, SMS look books and other off cadence special projects. Assist in maintaining and updating / keeping current documents including but not limited to Kick Off Decks and SMS look books.
Photoshop: alter inspirational images by changing color or print, background, lighting exposure etc.
Powerpoint: organize/save inspirational photos as hi-res, build templates, research new layouts, fonts, borders; help to build print/swatch pages.
InDesign: use templates, upload all ways to wear imagery, input product information, proofread type, edit and align photos; and pdf for copy and print.
Seasonal Photo Shoot assistant: prep before- organizing room, steaming samples, pulling accessories, cleaning set, hanging looks for the models, lunch orders to crew, breakdown of shoot- dry cleaning of damaged samples, maintaining delivery racks.
Design Supplies: order and distribute design supplies for design area in office and for WFH designers- pencils, markers, ink, paper, pins, hangers, etc.
Inspirational Photoshopping.
We use inspirational fashion imagery to envision what fashion forward and trendy styles might look like for our brand.
This requires photoshopping imagery to use our prints, custom colors and may require editing backgrounds, lighting or exposure of the image to better fit our brand and seasonal direction.
Assist the design team with preparing materials including photos and PowerPoints for SMS meetings & on sale.
High attention to details of layout; alignment of images, and proofread copy.
InDesign WTW Look Books
Every photo in the line assortment needs to be entered into the template.
Each outfit photo needs to be resized and aligned within the template.
Each outfit needs accurate style description consistent with the Master Boards.
Each print and solid swatch needs to be consistent with the CADs for Design print folders and Color Atlas folders in Sharepoint.
WTW look books are created seasonally on a very tight timeline and will require working after hours during the project in order to meet deadlines.
Assist SMS Photo shoot.
Prep for photo shoots: steam samples, bring samples to SR for alterations, pull AIS, MSB, accessories and shoes before shoot.
During photo shoot assist models in dressing, order lunch/welfare needs for crew. Make sure dressing room stays clear of clothing on the floor.
Return samples to delivery racks, set aside dry cleaning, help to arrange for dry cleaning/ laundry services.
Post photo shoot: Help team restore studio back to order, submit facilities request, and return AIS, MSB accessories and shoes to PD.
Organizing, naming and clipping videos via Dropbox will be required.
Other Duties as may be required by Design.
Maintain, order and distribute design team art and office supplies.
Organize Design team sample closet.
Organize information and files for efficient management of the department (i.e. as the design closet; ensure that garments, accessories, trims and supplies are well cataloged).
Communicate daily with team members and cross functional partners as appropriate to achieve superior products.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A four-year college degree is required. This must be in a fashion related major or closely related subject.
2-5 years of experience within the retail industry is preferred.
Genuine excitement for the Lilly Pulitzer brand and concept.
Proficient skills in InDesign, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Must have the aptitude and willingness to learn new applications of Computer Aided Design which may be implemented.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
The sense of urgency and readiness to work ahead of schedule necessary in the retail industry.
Ability to meet product calendar deadlines to achieve outlined brand goals.
Sufficient organization skills and detail orientation to maintain useful information.

MISCELLANEOUS
This position will be Hybrid, based out of our Home Office in King of Prussia, PA. Travel to King of Prussia during key stages of line development is required.
This position is eligible for standard company fringe benefits.
The position may require some domestic travel to Palm Beach and New York as appropriate.
Given the seasonality of the business, this position will require flexible, additional working hours during peak periods.
This position is reviewed annually.
