Delivery Driver Benefits:

Delivery Driver Job Information:

• This is a physical job and requires that the delivery driver gets in and out of the truck.

Requirements of Delivery Driver: All applicants MUST meet ALL of the following criteria

(NO EXCEPTIONS):

• Must have a smart phone and be willing to download time keeping app, Groundcloud.

• Must be willing to operate vehicle with cameras installed in cabin.

• 1 year or more work-related truck driving experience (particularly in a larger truck 10,000 pounds or greater) in the last 3 years OR 5 years of verifiable job-related truck driving experience in the last 10 years. Driving experience must be verifiable.

• Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid by Employer!)

• Must be willing to have a background check

• Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.

• Physically able to handle packages up to 100 lbs

• The ability to locate urban and rural addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must and a good general knowledge of our service area which includes the Combination of urban and rural areas of St. Mary's county including the military base.

• MUST have RELIABLE transportation to work every day!

Responsibilities of Delivery Driver:

• Loading and Unloading packages from the truck.

• Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times

• Delivering packages to the destination using a GPS system. Average of 70-130 stops per day.

• Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels

• Loading vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loads

• Work independently and as part of a team

• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager

• Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process

• Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and critical to our integrity.

• Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
