We are seeking a highly motivated individual to help expand our growing business. The successful candidate will develop relationships and bring additional assets under management to the firm. The candidate will expand our footprint within the corporate space, and continue to build our strong brand name within the state and local government investment community. The successful candidate must be goal oriented and have the ability to work independently.

FHN Financial Main Street Advisors is a SEC Registered Investment Advisor providing fixed income investment management and advisory services with over $14 Billion in AUM and $58 Billion AUA. Portfolios are constructed to preserve capital, ensure liquidity, and to generate risk-adjusted income. FHN Main Street’s current clients include cities, counties, states, water districts, airports, school districts, and insurance companies. FHN Main Street is seeking to expand into the corporate space.

Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of fixed income Investments and knowledge of fixed income portfolio management
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the institutional fixed income market
  • Proven track record of selling fixed income products and solutions
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Basic understanding of market and economic factors
  • Exceptional Marketing Capabilities
  • Highly effective communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Preference will be given to those with Masters and/or CFA Designation
  • Must have the Series 65, or the ability to obtain within 30 days

Job Description
  • Cultivate new business relationships and identify opportunities to bring additional assets to the firm
  • Travel will be required to attend conferences and to meet with prospective clients
  • Foster relationships at FHN Bank to generate new leads and warm calls
  • Present investment management and advisory services to Board Members, Treasurers, and Executives
  • Understanding of State Laws and Investment Policies governing entities investment programs.
  • Respond to RFPs and RFQs
  • Evaluate prospective clients’ overall investment program and provide a comprehensive solution
  • Understand prospects’ objectives and customize solutions based off of needs and risk tolerances.
  • Periodically assist portfolio managers when needed
  • Develop strong relationship of trust with current and prospective clients
