Job Description

Support a wide range of construction, and demolition projects in the Southeast US with initial project in Oak Ridge, TN . Primary responsibilities will be to manage all aspects of the construction project . Candidate must be willing to commit to a long-term presence at the project site. Will interface with client and regulatory project stakeholders for development and implementation of project strategies, schedules and budgets.

Required Skills

  • Should have experience with earned value reporting and baseline management.
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years of field experience in construction areas.
  • Previous experience on large scale DOE, DoD and other federal agencies' projects
  • Should have experience working with applicable DOE/DoD regulations.
  • Must have field subcontract management experience.

  • Ability to tightly manage schedules and budgets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management, staff, and clients, as well as outside business associates.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information and respond effectively and sensitively to questions from clients, managers, staff and the general public.
  • Ability to utilize multiple word-processing and database applications including MS Office applications Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow procedures and schedules, and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent proof-reading and writing skills.
  • High degree of sensitivity regarding confidential client and employee information.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, and make decisions, solve problems, exercise good judgment, work under pressure, and capable of prioritizing workload.
  • Working knowledge of applicable codes (ACI, AISC, etc.)
