Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc., a leader in heavy civil construction and underground construction, is
seeking qualified candidates for Field Engineer opening at our Project in Berry, AL

The essential functions of the position are:

• Plan, track and report daily quantities
• Prepare various documentation pertaining to production, schedule, quality, and cost
• Assist with survey
• Assist with Construction Layouts
• Equipment Operation
• Ensure construction complies with specifications (Quality Control)
• Comply and promote safety policies and procedures

The successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Mining or Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred
• Minimum of an Associate degree in Mining or Construction Management Engineering
• Adherence to safe work practices
• Team player and good interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Willing to work evening and over-night shifts
• Experience in heavy construction field experience (internships, co-ops, or work experience),
• preferred
• Familiarity with shotcrete and concrete placement
• Knowledgeable with survey techniques
• Experience with scheduling and planning of heavy construction work
• Ability to track costs and compile time and material work records
• Familiar with typical shaft and slope construction
• Familiarity in measuring and tracking quantities of work performed
• Skilled in Autocad, Scheduling software, Microsoft excel
