Overview:

We are looking for an individual that prioritizes the values of a company and a strong desire to always provide a high level of service. This role will not only be responsible for successfully executing projects of all levels, but also contributing to the scaling efforts underway at SECA, which are held with the highest level of optimism for growth into a nationally recognized company.

This role will also require someone that can actively sell the product they are installing and standing behind. Most of the hands-on work will be on small to medium-sized projects, management over subcontractors on larger projects is a necessary skill-set. Working knowledge of Project Management skills will be needed in order to properly budget and manage timelines for active projects.

Position Priorities:

1.Translates customer needs/requirements into detailed proposals and project plan to meet Customer requests; reviews and approves estimated costs prior to bid; change proposals, assists with collections on accounts.

2. Communicates project requirements to the project team and wider organization as and when required.

Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services a variety of IP-based security systems and equipment including access control, video, intercoms, and burglar. The colleague is a key interface for the technical support and training of the customer.

3. Reads basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures;

Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.

4. Operates systems to demonstrate functionality, commission new systems, analyze performance, and identify malfunctions.

5. Acts as our customers' best service provider at all times thereby ensuring SECA Secure is the customer's first choice for service. Takes ownership of onsite projects including safety, quality, and performance.

6. Consults with technical support to resolve unusual problems in system operation, maintenance, and warranty work.

7. Performs all work in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures. Uses solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.

Skills Required:

New Mexico Low Voltage Journeyman's License/ or Contractor License required.

Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.)

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

What you will be doing:

Our technical needs include people experienced in Electronics and low voltage systems, with mechanical skills for installing, terminating, and programming panels and devices. Any training in Networks is a plus. Responsibilities Perform service/installation of access control, intrusion alarm, closed-circuit television systems, and other various security-related systems. Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs as necessary. Perform upgrades and additions to systems in order to increase functionality utilization. Perform computer program entry as required to add CCTV cameras, access control, and intrusion alarm systems as needed.

Prepare documentation, written and electronic, for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information. Responsible for reading and understanding technical drawings, assigned project documentation and work orders including the scope of work, and determine if additional information is needed. Available for scheduled on-call to respond to after-hours emergency service calls. Provide the ability to install, service, troubleshoot, and program CCTV and access control systems. Follow troubleshooting guidelines and refer to technical/parts manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose & repair equipment or systems. Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.

Skills Exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with the Service Coordinator,

Management, and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction experience. Other Perform other duties as assigned, including attending training classes when offered. Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs. including extension ladders, electronic equipment, racks, etc. Partner with sales to grow and protect the service segment of our business. Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules including overnight travel when needed. Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements Comply with company guidelines for safe driving, appearance, and attitude.

Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
