Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Business Line: Airfield - Providing active visual guidance, our solutions allow pilots to land, taxi and take off safely and efficiently

The opportunity

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the field start-up and commissioning support for ADB SAFEGATE standard or advanced products. The scope of the role includes support for Site Projects, Project Management, Bid Preparation, and Testing & Validation.

You will make an impact by….

• Assisting customers, both internal and external, in isolating defects in the field
• Performing Preventative Maintenance tasks per Contract and Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Developing customer relationships in order to help improve customer satisfaction
• Performing all technical training classes for standard products to internal and external customers
• Generating and supporting all technical documentation including trip reports, training documentation as needed, review of product manuals
• Communicating / promoting the company image to the airport lighting industry during system installation and training

The talent we want to inspire has..

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Associate in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), equivalent degree, or equivalent experience.
• Must pass any required BCI and FBI Background Check.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license & maintain an insurable driving record.
• Two (2) to four (4) years of experience working as a field technician or related experience
• The ability to travel nationally and internationally 75% of the time. Travel periods may exceed 7 days at a time.

This would be a plus but not a must!

• Fluent Spanish (oral and written communication skills) desired.
• International travel experience desired.
