Job description

We are a family owned, well-established equipment repair company looking for a Full-time Field Service Technician to deliver a high-quality customer service and repair experience to our clients. We are willing to train a motivated and dependable individual that can demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of battery systems. Please note: This is a HIGH TRAVEL / COMMUTE role. We service a large territory in Florida that encompasses Gainesville to Naples on West coast and Palm Coast to Jupiter on the East coast, along with Orlando and other cities in the middle of the state. It will sometimes require travel of 200-300 miles a day in a company-provided vehicle. Overnight stay with company-provided lodging/meals will also be necessary at times.

Responsibilities

· Provide customer support and a high-level service experience during field visits

· Perform repair and maintenance tasks on electric mobility carts and floor machines

· Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions

· Produce timely and detailed service reports

· Operate company vehicle in a safe manner

· Follow all company’s field procedures and protocols

· Ability to communicate and build positive relationships with customers

Requirements

· Ability to work 40 hours per week, flexible scheduling Mon-Sun available. Overtime as needed.

· A willingness to travel daily to multiple locations, and for overnight stays in some markets as needed.

· Understanding of battery-operated systems, and ability to use light duty tools such as a meter.

· Ability to read product manuals and understand schematic drawings.

· Basic Math skills

· Ability to lift equipment as needed, up to 100 lbs.

· Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (controlled substance)

· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
