Noordyk Business Equipment has been selling & servicing copiers and office equipment for over 75 years. We recently acquired Capitol Communication Systems Inc. in Lansing, MI. They have a diverse, and loyal base of customers in central Michigan. Because of this, we are anxiously looking to add you to our service team. You will be responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of the copier and printer fleet.

Primary duties include:

• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting onsite at clients' locations
• Follow company service call procedures
• Interact with customers to ensure a high overall level of customer satisfaction
• Exhibit professional appearance and demeanor
• Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, delivery and installation of commercial copiers & printers

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read and comprehend written technical information in the form of technical manuals, parts books, and publications
• Technical and in-person customer relation skills
• Ability to multitask and still be detail-oriented
• Some heavy lifting required
• Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License

Noordyk Business Equipment provides a daily service vehicle. Compensation is based on specific industry and manufacturer experience and training (Konica Minolta preferred) but other manufacturers’ experience is very helpful. The position also includes hands-on and computer-based training, a company laptop, and cell phone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
