Essential Responsibilities:

GE Vernova is looking to add an experienced field service assembler, wiring tech, and testing of industrial control panels. The candidate should be able to understand electrical control schematics to retrofit existing control panels, must be able to interpret schematics to implement the required modernization upgrades.

The ideal candidate should be able to work with minimum supervision. The end users are industrial sites, such as, refineries and paper mills, as well as power plants and other industrial and commercial sites.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 1 year minimum of experience in industrial control panels
  • Experience with the utilization of tools used for the installation and wiring of control panels, wire terminal splicing and efficient wiring techniques such as the manufacturing of wire looms and harnesses.
  • Interpretation of one line, three line and control electrical schematics.
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state

Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Be able to use electric metal cutters such as electric jigsaws, drills, and hole puncher.
  • Familiarity with industrial and manufacturing environments
  • Basic computer skills
