SUMMARY:

The Services Team Field Supervisor supervises and oversees the daily activities of the NE field services personnel who perform on-site services including installation, maintenance, and repair work for NSU projects. Responsibilities also include supervision, scheduling, coordination and assignment of work orders and other special projects. This position will ensure that routine and emergency maintenance repairs are effectively performed at all related facilities and is responsible for all aspects of managing field personnel including personnel matters such as work schedules and performance. This is considered a working supervisory role and the candidate is expected to perform duties as well as supervise their completion

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Standard Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • Hours outside of routine schedule as required
  • On call for emergency work
  • Maintaining and upholding the quality and standards of our organization
  • Supervise service technicians as assigned for completion of daily service work orders
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintaining a cycle of the same
  • Interact with CMMS coordinator/Operations Coordinator to ensure all work orders are closed and properly billed.
  • Coordinate all related services work for facilities with the Operations Supervisor and the Lead Operator.
  • Ensuring proper working shifts of employees under his/her supervision
  • Interact with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems in a facility
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations set by the company and the industry
  • Delegate work to subordinates and ensure timely completion of the assignments
  • Filing purchase orders and other documentations for the procurement of spare and replacement parts
  • Ensuring that all maintenance activities in a facility are appropriately carried out
  • Manage projects to contractual requirements by utilizing appropriate resources
  • Analyze performance data to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure optimal performance
  • Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Productivity
  • Ensure that every member of the team receives the proper safety training and equipment applicable to their position
  • Ensure that “Best Practices” are being consistently applied
  • Work to ensure that we are delivering an excellent customer experience and escalate customer concerns as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervises up to 4 employees within the Service Groups geographic areas.
  • Ensures that all direct reports are trained appropriately and following company safety rules and policies.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Work with other plant departments, Engineering, and contractors to coordinate projects
  • Manage, evaluate, schedule, and develop the Service Teams staff and ensure adequate staffing at all times
  • Provides leadership and directing in response to alarms and abnormal conditions and lead emergency response actions
  • Independently evaluates and/or supervises the evaluation of the operation, maintenance and performance of wastewater treatment facilities, processes, systems and equipment
  • Participate in the development and compliance of operating policies ensuring compliance to all environmental and safety rules while working in and around contracted facilities.
  • Complete reports which document plant status, equipment, during the performance of service work at contracted facilities.
  • Collect data on unplanned outages and make recommendations to minimize the probability of similar events
  • Manage Department budget, purchasing and inventory controls through company financial systems, including but not limited to monthly, quarterly and annual project review and improvement recommendations.
  • Responsible for purchasing/ordering of materials and supplies to operate facilities efficiently
  • Maintain maintenance documents and records
  • Work weekends, holidays, and be on-call on a rotating basis/schedule as needed
  • Respond to emergencies, work additional hours to complete required tasks as/and when needed
  • Proficient in the operation and use of various hand and power tools
  • Carries out other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to speak, read and write English
  • This position requires risk analysis, critical thinking, and the ability to provide solutions to the benefit of the company, clients and projects

    • Familiar with LogCheck and Eworkorders or similar data collection and CMMS programs
