We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill an opening for a Financial Analyst 2 at our Decherd, TN location. This individual will act as the single source of cost data for the program(s) under their responsibility. Act as a trusted advisor on cost-related issues to the Program Director, Chief Vehicle Engineer, Purchasing Project Manager, and Cost Engineers. Must contribute and commit to the vision of transforming Vehicle Cost Management team as main driver of cost performance in projects.

Job Responsibilities

Support team vision as driver of cost performance in project from Pre-Concept to Mass Production. Bring contribution to ACO NML plan of VCM role transformation.
Act as a single entry point and front office for ACO contribution in project
Complete all Vehicle Cost Management function and processes for assigned programs(s), including:
Preparation of project milestones (Full Model, Minor Change and MY events).
Timely and accurate reporting of Program financial condition to all members of the Product Development Team, Finance and other stakeholders.
Animation, synthesis and reporting on Design to Cost, sourcing activities and regular follow-up of cost fluctuation, in coherence with overall economic convergence of each project.
Promote early identification of program Risks & Opportunities in an objective and independent manner, including utilization of ACO expertise in challenge of costs.
Perform Reconciliation of Project last milestone with Mass Production.
Support development of Annual Business Plan Development
Ensure Product Development and Cost Engineering Teams coordination and involvement toward project profitability objectives.
Coordinate and work directly with counterpart in Mexico and other Regions to support standardization of best practices and address regional needs.
Champion Digitization, streamlining, and convergence of key cost management processes and outputs.
Encourage sharing of ideas, challenges and breakthroughs, and shared sense of broader 900 person global ACO Organization through effective use of ACO network reinforcement meetings and touchpoints.

Minimal Requirements:
The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.

1. Job Knowledge and Skill: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of mainframe, parts arrangement, warranty, inventory control and purchasing systems. Ability to use PC based software to modify, and develop programs for warranty and specialized reporting. Knowledge of Nissan corporate policies, and ISO14001 requirements.
2. Experience: Three to Five years of related experience at a professional level.
3. Education: A four-year degree in Finance, Engineering, or Business required.
4. Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to create specialized applications or products of a highly technical nature. Must be proficient in MS applications, Oracle, Focus, and mainframe applications. .
