Job description

Financial Manager is responsible for completing financial reports and records in accordance with Federal, State, and HUD regulations and Wadena HRA Board request. Completes accounts payable/receivables including payroll and financial reporting to appropriate agencies. Reconcile all financial records including bank statements and general ledger.

Process and maintain a variety of accounts including accounts payable/receivable in accounting system verifying data and accuracy and ensure timely payments.

Reconcile bank and cash investments, recommend investment options, and maintain adequate pledged collateralization.

Prepare financial reports. deposits, journal entries, trial balance, general ledger, US Bank Bonds, and profit/loss, and audit.

Submit required state, federal, HUD, MHFA, bank, and county reports

Electronic setup and maintain ACH deposits and withdrawals.

Prepare and maintain loan program documents, debt collection, and reports.

Assist in preparing operating budgets.

Maintain tenant security deposit accounts and refunds.

Process payroll and conduct employee orientation of benefits and collection of required documentation,

Assist with employee health insurance comparisons and renewal.

Monitor and assist VMS and MHFA submissions. Monitor voucher funds to ensure adequate utilization.

Maintain privacy and confidentiality.
