We are a strong and growing Heating & Plumbing manufacturers' rep agency serving all of New England and Upstate New York. We have an immediate full-time Business Financial Administrator position available. We offer a competitive salary, paid vacations/holidays, IRA, sick time and health insurance.

  • Excellent Excel skills - strong formulating
  • SYSPRO experience beneficial
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Review financial transactions for accuracy
  • Input transactions into the correct ledger
  • Maintaining the business ledger
  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns
  • Prepare weekly financial reports to President/Owner
  • Maintain accounts receivable aging reports
  • Interact with suppliers to resolve accounting issues
  • Post cash, wire and credit card reconciliations
  • Perform general ledger accounts maintenance
  • Investigate and correct supplier and accounting discrepancies
  • Perform additional projects and assignments in support of general accounting operations
  • Prepare documents for external auditors and for yearly tax preparation and interim financial reporting
  • Record complex transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts, other accounts and classify
  • Complete required tax forms
  • Make deposits and record all cash receipts
  • Manage office petty cash fund
  • Accounts payables and receivables

Candidate for this position must possess the following skills;

  • Associate (minimum) or BS in Accounting (preferred)
  • 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping or financial administrative experience
  • Strong experience in Quickbooks
  • Experience with Syspro a bonus but not required
  • Must be detail-oriented, flexible and able to work independently
  • Must be able to multi task in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Office, including Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Goal-oriented and deadline driven
  • Must be able to pass background check
