Report directly to the CFO of a Private Equity backed agriculture and technology firm, engaged in fruit variety development, technology, Intellectual Property, and licensing. About the Role

You will work closely with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team to support in financial modeling, designing an updated process for reporting on KPIs in a new ERP / BI system, and the annual budgeting process. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the Finance department on a growing team and will require an experienced, independent thinker with a track record of strategic thinking, change management, and attention to detail.

• Detailed analysis including advanced financial modeling, profitability analysis, return on investment, discounted cash flow, and monitoring bottom line results
• Leveraging multiple information platforms and analytical tools to identify and address business critical issues
• Directing strategy for reporting, designing dashboard for business intelligence, and codifying a system for reporting on key metrics
• Planning and managing multiple data / analytics projects – including the annual budgeting process
• Preparing materials for a Board of Directors, Lenders, and internal management packages

We are Excited to Meet You because You have…

• 3-5 years of experience in agribusiness, finance, or consumer products as a Financial

Analyst, Operations Analyst, or Marketing Analyst

• Proven analytical and strategic thinking skills with significant direct experience with budgeting and forecasting
• A strong understanding of financial concepts, a logical approach with a questioning attitude, and the ability to interpret data and convert from one format to another with financial understanding
• Experience building analytic models such as supply and demand forecasting, and pricing analyses
• Understand the application of Business Intelligence software and the concepts of data management. High integrity with ERP systems knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

• Experience with planning and managing multiple research projects. Ability to balance multiple projects deadlines
• Confident with a highly professional demeanor. Ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills
• Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to appropriately interface with all levels of management
• The ability to speak, read, and write English at a level that allows full communication and participation in a team situation
• Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment and with multiple managers
