Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions (VWTS) is on the move and we're looking for an ambitious Financial Analyst to join our team supporting the North America Services business - this is one of our fastest growing business units within the company and North America represents the largest region. This role is hybrid (3 days/ week), located at our global headquarters in Trevose, PA.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early on in their career where you'll be responsible for analysis of business segments, and cost departments, including analyzing the cost structure, determining profitability, developing KPIs to measure business performance, and ensuring proper P&L alignment of the cost structure to support long-term strategic business views. You'll also own deep dives into processes and systems and propose changes to the same where needed. We have a top-notch team and offer plenty of support to make sure you're set up for success!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop costs and revenue (price) KPIs that are relevant to measure the strategic goals of a team / Center of Excellence.
- Ensure proper P&L alignment of the cost structure to how the business is run.
- Develop new processes and standards where current ones fall short of reflecting the business. Develop savings based on the financial output and analysis.
- Develop insights and KPIs on how price changes impact the bottom line, considering an inflationary environment. Develop tracking of capital investment KPIs such as on time delivery, billing start date
- Work closely with core NAM Finance team on all ongoing topics and collaborate with the business to ensure outputs will be used to drive decisions.
- Serve as a business partner to the Operations leaders to drive initiatives, growth and profitability on Standard Cost level
- Lead the cross functional teams thru the planning/budgeting process
- Support financial deliverables where needed
- Calculate and track return on capital investments
- Promote accuracy, controllership and predictability of costs including setting and revising current and/or new processes
- Strive for process simplification and harmonization of our global financial procedures
- Own ad hock reporting and special goal requests
- Support the closing, reporting, budgeting, auditing and any other fiduciary responsibilities
Core Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting or equivalent or Finance. Master’s Degree / MBA is a plus
- 1-2 years Finance/Accounting experience
- Good Excel skills including lookups, pivot tables, formulas, etc
- Knowledge of ERP systems and reporting systems such as PowerBI and Tableau is helpful
