Description
- Performs intake and verification of patient demographic information and pre-authorization, as required.
- Determine eligibility for sliding fee adjustment and entitlement programs.
- Research the status of all unpaid bills and implement a collection process to resolve non-payment balances at the time of the visit.
- Schedules walk-in patients, with Practice Management System by coordinating with the departments.
- Informs patient of all their fiscal responsibilities and answer patient’s questions related to the payment process.
- High School diploma/Business Institutional Certification or three (3) years relevant experience with practice Management Systems.
- Knowledge of billing and collection procedures in a medical setting.
- Ability to prioritize and handling multiple tasks.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills.

Generally, the working conditions are good with little or no exposure to extremes in health, safety hazards and/or hazardous materials. This person must have the ability to travel as required to work with staff.
