We are offering a $1,200 SIGNING BONUS to the selected candidate!

The role of the Financial Outreach Manager will be responsible for identifying, designing and championing strategic community partnerships that will position the credit union to be our member’s financial partner for life. Pelican is seeking a compassionate leader who is driven and motivated to help others obtain financial stability through member education and community partnerships. The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail oriented, flexible and open to change. You will lead a team, manage projects and develop strategies to assist your team in achieving and exceeding performance indicators and organizational goals. Submit monthly reporting and manage grant data collections.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FINANCIAL OUTREACH MANAGER INCLUDES:

• Identify, design, and champion strategic community partnerships that position the credit union as members' financial partner for life.
• Spearhead the growth and development of financial education material and training modules for financial literacy program.
• Build internal awareness of Financial Outreach program including function and benefit to members.
• Manage the team by traveling statewide and attending events after hours or on weekends.
• Supervise staff and manage all projects, tasks, and strategies to achieve team performance indicators and organizational goals.

FINANCIAL OUTREACH MANAGER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDES:

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education, Communications, Financial Planning or a related field.

o. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of education.

• 5 years of experience in credit counseling, financial education, community outreach, or lending.
• Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and member service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
