The HT Group is recruiting a strong, well-rounded FINANCIAL REPORTING & TECHNCIAL ACCOUNTING MANAGER for a fully REMOTE, Direct Hire opportunity! Our client is a growing Tech company with a very acquisitive nature, an aggressive M&A strategy, who continues to grow double-digits each year! This is a great opportunity for a high-level contributor to grow their knowledge and skill set within both technical accounting and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience with technical accounting analysis, writing technical memos on non-standard type transactions, experience with SEC Filings (Q’s & K’s), and preferably a mix of private accounting and large public accounting firm (preferably Big 4 or Top 10); however, looking for good tenure at companies as well.

DIRECT HIRE | REMOTE (US Only) or HYBRID (West Austin, TX) | SALARY $120k - $150k (DOE) + Bonus

RESPONSBILITIES

• Prepare Financial Statement and Debt Certification Package
• Prepare MD&A to company discuss performance, compliance, risks, goals, and new projects
• Experience handling complex transactions such as acquisitions, debt modifications, and equity contracts
• Ensure accounting procedures and operational efficiency maintain compliant by staying abreast of GAAP and regulatory requirements, industry trends, and technology
• Ensure compliance with financial and internal controls to safeguard assets and provide recommendations for improvements
• Experience researching and providing guidance on technical accounting areas to include taxes, foreign currency, loan modifications, and stock options
• Assist both internal & external auditors

• Experience writing Technical Memorandum’s on Significant Non-Standard Type Transactions, detailed footnotes, preparing white-paper documentation, and creating a disclosure checklist

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance
• CPA
• 5+ years in Public Accounting OR 5+ years in Public Accounting & Public Company
• Big 4 and/or Top 10 Public Accounting Experience
• Experience working with multiple legal entities
• Public Company experience with SEC filings (Q’s & K’s)
• IPO experience, Highly Preferred
• Advanced Excel - analytical/complex spreadsheet abilities
