Hours: Friday - Sunday, 5AM - 5PM

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing various finishing operations as qualified in a fast-paced medical manufacturing environment while strictly adhering to all applicable safety and quality policies. In addition, this position is expected to meet production standards as reflected in the ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
2. Interpret applicable blueprints and follow all manufacturing processes and procedures.
3. Complete required documentation for all applicable jobs.
4. Perform work under a microscope.

5. Perform as qualified:
1. Repetitive deburring operations of removing surface defects from a number of parts using manual and/or electric tools
2. General cleaning of parts
3. Operate various mass finishing equipment
4. Assembly of components
5. Packaging parts
6. Laser marking
7. Bending/Broaching
8. Heat treat
9. Blasting
10. Other secondary operations as needed
6. Participate in continuous improvement activities.
7. Independently change jobs and perform line clearance between jobs.
8. Follow procedures as needed to address non-conformities.
9. May cross-train other employees on basic operations.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years relevant experience, including applying unique finishing skills
• Experience within a close tolerance manufacturing environment
• Intermediate ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the medical device industry
• Basic machining exposure
• Experience working under a microscope
• High level of manual dexterity
• Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
