Job description

• Develops firmware using VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog and processor systems with a strong emphasis on embedded hardware control logic, low-level peripheral interfacing, and complex digital signal processing, compression, or encryption algorithms
• Develops comprehensive simulation test bench modules to ensure a high degree of code coverage and proper functionality of firmware modules
• Creates timing constraints to ensure design is fully constrained, achieves timing closure, and produces consistent timing results during implementation
• Works independently or as part of a small team to complete assignments
• Establish firmware, software, hardware interface requirements to satisfy overall product performance goals
• Supports interfacing disciplines such as firmware, mechanical, RF, hardware, integration & test, and project management
• Member of hardware, software, and firmware integration team – validating that all three design elements work together to satisfy the requirements of a project
• Member of design verification test team to ensure that the firmware designs meet their performance requirements
• Member of the product verification test team to ensure that the resulting system meets the product’s performance requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
