Fitness: Front Desk Attendant

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CPR & First Aid Training Required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Customer Service Oriented

Skills Required:

• Basic understanding of health and fitness
• Basic math skills
• Believe in a high level of customer service and enjoy working with people
• Ability to multitask, solve problems

Necessary Attitude:

• Must have a friendly, outgoing personality and enjoy social interaction
• Must have a cooperative, positive with an optimistic attitude
• Must follow instructions precisely
• Accommodating to the needs of others
• Follow through and complete assignments
• Precisely follow procedures
• Work as part of the team
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior

Duties to Be Performed:

• Handle incoming calls
• Greet everyone who walks in

o Check in members and verify membership

o Register guests and new members

o Provide directions

• Perform all opening and closing procedures if assigned those shifts
• Keep all equipment straight and check out when needed
• Keep desk and lobby neat and clean at all times
• Keep supplies stocked at all times
• Be responsible for security for self and others

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• After school
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
