Job description
RamClean is looking for a commercial floor care technician to strip, wax and buff floors in the Champaign and Central Illinois area. This individual will also clean carpets at commercial locations. This position can full time or part time.
Primary Responsibilities:

Inspect equipment and systems regularly for proper function and safety.
Load equipment and prepare vehicles for floor work
Manage stock of floor cleaning supplies and chemicals
Prep floors: Clean, scrub, mop, and sweep floors
Move furniture before and after floor cleaning
Applies stripper to floors to remove old wax then refinishes floors with new wax
Buff and polish floors
Ensure that the end result is of the highest quality
Train employees on how to perform floor work
Communicate progress with operations team
Secondary Responsibilities:

Clean carpets using an encapsulation carpet cleaner
Clean carpets using wet extraction carpet cleaner
Help clean commercial buildings
Our biggest need is an experienced professional floor cleaning tech that can strip and wax VCT flooring. We can train you on carpet cleaning. Sometimes we will not have enough floor and carpet cleaning work for full time hours, so we can give you additional hours cleaning commercial accounts if you want full time work.
Requirements:

5 years of experience stripping, waxing, buffing and polishing hard floors.
A reliable vehicle. (you will drive a company vehicle to job location)
A valid driver's license
Reliable worker
You need to be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Since most floor work is done after business close, you must be able to work evenings/nights. Some jobs will take a few hours, other jobs can take 8-10 hours. You will often do work on Friday nights and usually have the option / flexibility to complete jobs Saturdays and Sundays when businesses are closed.
RamClean is growing fast and we value our hard working employees. We are getting new accounts every week. There are opportunities for new shifts and additional hours in the future. Many of our part time employees transition into full time jobs.
Starting pay: $17-$18 per hour, depending on experience
