Roles & Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

As the Fair Market Valuation Representative, the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all required duties of the department such as, processing all Fair Market Values, monitoring FMV reports, and researching values. The Representative will also be responsible for making sure accounts with past due FMVs that are deemed administratively infeasible are distributed timely and properly. In addition, the Fair Market Valuation Representative will also provide excellent support to customers and check to certify all documents follow all policies and procedures. The FMV Representative position includes client correspondence by phone and e-mail to comply with regulatory requirement.

  • Receive Fair Market Values from via email/fax, portal submissions including Expense Pay and Pending Pal submissions, and correspond with clients
  • Assist with receiving, reviewing, and save to appropriate FMV object
  • Monitor and distribute any assets that the Fair Market Values have been deemed administratively infeasible
  • Monitor and review FMV reports daily
  • Review and update Fair Market values daily
  • Research market values through third party approved sites and/or procedures
  • Detail account reviews and corrections associated with FMVs
  • Work with compliance to re-mediate account reviews
  • Follow processes and procedures for compliance
  • Process all Fair Market Values according to policy and procedure
  • Assist with FMV reports and after season cleanup projects
  • Assist clients with complex and out of the ordinary situations regarding FMVs
  • Process In-Kind distributions and draft re-registration documents
  • Assist with any Special Services duties and/or project if needed
  • Performs other job-related duties as required

Education & Experience

  • An Associate’s degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of directly job-related experience recommended

Skills & Qualifications

  • Time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Real Estate transaction experience
  • Closing specialist experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Some legal knowledge
  • Data entry experience
  • IRA knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A background in Real Estate is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
