Job description
Responsibilities:
- Delivers food from the kitchen to dining area tables in a timely, accurate manner.
- Assists servers with table preparation for all wine and food coming out.
- Pours and refills water.
- Handles bread and butter service.
- Assists with clearing and resetting tables.
- Prepares for coffee and dessert.
- Communicates between kitchen and servers regarding the status of each table and delivery of food.
- Maintains a clean, orderly appearance of the restaurant service area and follows all proper sanitation guidelines.
- Exhibits strong food knowledge - knows menu descriptions and can identify dishes.
Requirements:
- Able to work flexible hours (nights, weekends, and holidays).
- Responsible, dependable, organized, and punctual.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to carry full-service tray steadily and comfortably.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
